During the weeks surrounding the March and September equinoxes, a magical event called Chicagohenge transforms the city’s canyons. The setting (or rising) sun aligns directly with the east-west streets, flooding the skyscraper-lined corridors with brilliant light and offering a breathtaking view for those positioned on streets like Madison, Randolph, or Kinzie.
